Ussing Diffusion-Chamber, opening 5mm x 8mm, low volume
The Ussing Chamber #1308 is used when a small volume of the buffer solution is important.
This is e.g. the case when the pharmaceuticals used are expensive to manufacture or procure.
The epithelium is stretched on needles, then the chamber is closed and secured with the locking rings.
Adapter inlays with a diameter of 2mm to 5mm are available for smaller tissue dimensions.
